Maureen Conroy, Ph.D., is a professor and the Anita Zucker Endowed Professor in Early Childhood Studies. She is co-director of the Anita Zucker Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Studies at the University of Florida. Dr. Conroy has extensive experience in conducting early intervention research with children who are at risk for or have social, emotional, and behavioral challenges and has served as the principal investigator on a number of externally funded projects. Currently, she is principal investigator on an IES Goal 2 development project focused on translating the BEST in CLASS intervention into a web-based platform. Dr. Conroy began her career as an early intervention teacher and home visitor working with young children and their families.
